How We Pay
Once we receive your package, the barcode printout that you included with your package will be scanned and an automated email will be sent to you confirming our receipt of your package. The package will be opened and contents will be photographed and assessed.
We then carefully evaluate your items for weight and precious metal content under camera surveillance. Using hallmarks, weights, XRF technology and the daily metal market rates, we determine the value of your items. All items will be weighed and checked for hallmarks to determine what your jewelry is made from. If there are no hallmarks, XRF will be used to identify them. X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Spectrometry is a non-destructive analytical technique used to identify and determine the concentrations of elements present in your metal jewelry or scrap.
A total lot value will be calculated. We will send you an email detailing each line item and the grand total for payout. You will have 2 days to respond to our email offer. You may accept or decline it.
If you accept our offer, a check will be sent to you in within 24 hours. If you decline our offer, we will return your items at no charge.
NOTE: If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we will assume you have accepted our offer. Please note that after 5 days, your items will be processed (refined) at our facility, so there will be no opportunity for you to get those items back.

Daily precious metal market rates - These precious metal prices can be found at the top right of our web site and are updated every day. Learn how these metal market prices are set. When we buy your precious metal, the price of the gold, silver, platinum or palladium you send in is determined by their purity and their weight in grams. Since the market price of gold is measured in troy ounces, please note that 1 troy ounce is equal to 31.1 grams.
