Refininity.com is a refinery that specializes in the purchase and processing of precious scrap metals. We are not a middle man. This means that you will get the highest return possible when you send your scrap to us for refining!
We offer fair and true market value for your items. We are registered with the State of Virginia as a Precious Metals Dealer. We abide by all local, State and Federal regulations, where applicable. We strive to complete all transactions within the confines of normal business dealings.
USA Patriot Compliance - We maintain strict adherence to all local, state and federal regulations regarding the purchase of scrap precious metals. We gather necessary data to ensure we identify our customers. As a purchaser of precious gold metals we are required by Federal law to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and its Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements as detailed under the USA Patriot Act for the deterrence of terrorist activity. We are in full compliance with the regulations as pertains to our business. Details can be furnished upon request.
Packaging, Mailing and Insuring your items – Your Refinity Kit will include one clear zip-top plastic bag for your valuables and one sturdy shipping box with pre-addressed, pre-paid USPS shipping label to place all materials in. Your jewelry will be insured up to $500 in value! Also included in the kit is your E-Label Record so you can track your package online. This record serves as your receipt.
Our local USPS office and personnel work directly with us to ensure timely and safe delivery of all of our customer packages. Your package is delivered to us usually between 10:30 AM and 11:00 PM every working day.
On receipt, your package will be logged in and moved through our secure processing facility. We will process your package and determine its value on the day received. All customer items are insured on our premises. Once your package value is logged in to our system, an assessment of its value will be sent to you via email. If you are happy with the value assessed and you want your check as quick as possible, just click "I accept" on the email offer you receive from us and your check will be sent that same day. And if we don't receive a response from you by email within 48 hours, we will send you a check for the assessed amount. It's that simple! Please note that your jewelry will be processed (refined) after 5 days, so it cannot be returned to you after that time.
If you are not satisfied with the emailed value assessment of your goods, please email us back immediately and we will return your package.
Our preferred method of payment is by check, however we do offer other forms of payment. Please email us for details. We DON'T do wire transfers, but overnight FedEx is an option for you.
Please note that our offices are not open to the public and we only receive packages by mail.
